HONDA CR-V
The 2008 CR-V received 5-star frontal and 5-star side-impact crash-test ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Association (NHTSA). Every CR-V comes equipped with standard features such as Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure, anti-lock braking (ABS) and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Plus, six airbags, including side curtain airbags with a rollover sensor, help protect driver and passengers in sufficient impacts.*

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has recognized the Honda CR-V as a 2008 "Top Safety Pick." The award was based on several extensive tests, including a frontal-offset test, side-impact and rear-impact test. In addition, each winner was required to have electronic stability control available as either standard equipment or as an option.
